Wi-Fi and Starlink™

Connect IP110H two-way radios over Starlink™ for remote teams

Working in remote or infrastructure-scarce locations?

If you already have Starlink™ deployed, you can easily add the IP110H Wi-Fi transceiver to your existing satellite internet system, bringing reliable voice communication to your teams and keeping them connected with the remote office. Monitor field operations in real time, and provide support or instructions whenever needed.

Voice Communication over Satellite Internet

Seamless Cross-System Communication

Simultaneous TalkListen™

Starlink™ supports text messages onl, but with our Wi-Fi transceiver and RoIP technology, voice communication becomes possible, even in remote areas.
With a RoIP (Radio over IP) gateway, such as VE-PG4, you can bridge communication between:
  • IP phones
  • Conventional radios
  • LTE transceivers
Unlike conventional VHF/UHF radios, the IP110H allows full-duplex communication—talk and listen at the same time, just like using a phone.

Is the ICOM Wi-Fi system on the Starlink™ network suitable for your business?

The innovative IP110H on the Starlink™ network offers numerous advantages to businesses by providing connectivity in the field, even in isolated areas or areas with poor coverage by traditional communication networks, such as deserts, underground locations, tunnels, mines, quarries, and offshore platforms.

Thanks to the use of Wi-Fi access points, in mobile or fixed stations, your technicians and engineers in remote locations equipped with IP110H Wi-Fi portable devices remain reachable at all times, provided they are within the Starlink™ connected Wi-Fi zone.

Use Case 1: Field Maintenance in Remote Areas

Real-time support for power line inspection, pipelines, and infrastructure work.

With Starlink™ combined with the IP110H Wi-Fi transceiver, management can monitor site communications and provide appropriate instructions when necessary, ensuring safe and efficient field operations.

Use Case 2: Connected Crew Operations

Seamless coordination between crews onboard and operations on land.

Onboard vessels, use Wi-Fi transceivers for real-time crew coordination. If Starlink™ is already deployed, maintain seamless contact with shore-based teams.

Use Case 3: Simplified Underground Communication

Wi-Fi-based group talk without leaky feeder antenna systems.

Simply connect surface satellites to underground Wi-Fi networks to enable group communications. Wi-Fi technology eliminates the need for complex leaky feeder antenna installations—just deploy Wi-Fi access points for easier setup.
